Our Line of Strain Relief Products includes:
The Insulated GRIPMASTER is designed to provide terminal protection for all types of power cords for appliances, lighting fixtures, and instrumentation where space is limited and high volume is required. It consists of a phenolic or fiber insulating material retained in a cold-rolled steel frame. Cord sizes range from .125 to.343 inch diameter. Applied with a manual or pneumatic hand tool.

Gripmaster Insulated Strain Reliefs
The All-Metal GRIPMASTER is constructed of zinc plated cold-rolled steel and is designed to withstand heavy duty use under the most severe conditions. This style is ideally suited for portable equipment where the power cord may be subjected to frequent abuse or a harsh environment. Round cord sizes from .250 to .375 outside diameter. Applied with a manual hand tool.

General Materials

The Insulated Gripmaster U-channel frame and the All-Metal  types are made from cold rolled steel with .0002 thick
      zinc plating. For applications and specifications refer to the Insulated and All-Metal sections below.
Fiber Insert: Black Commercial Forbon per MIL-F-1148 and Fed. Spec. ASTM-D-710
Temperature rating:  Electrical - 115 C Mechanical - 110 C
Phenolic Insert: Nema grade XPC-T, UL Flame Class 94 HB
Temperature rating: Electrical - 130C  Mechanical - 130C

U.L. Approval:  Gripmaster Strain Reliefs are a proprietary product that will meet U.L. requirements for the 35 pound pull test when applied and tested as part of the final product.
